This hand-crafted amber owl brooch is a perfect graduation gift or a thoughtful teacher gift. The silver outline has been made of perforated hallmarked sterling silver with a textured surface decorated with amber gemstones. Amber stones are located in the owl’s eyes and decorate the entire body giving an extra brightness and spark to this vintage brooch.

Individually selected amber cabochons have been placed in exclusive, hand-crafted, hallmarked sterling silver frame. Each amber cabochon went through a quality control check to ensure only perfect, high-quality stones were chosen to make this unique piece of jewellery.

Did you know that instead of spherical eyeballs, owls have “eye tubes” that go far back into their skulls—which means their eyes are fixed in place, so they have to turn their heads to see? The size of their eyes helps them see in the dark, and they are far-sighted, which allows them to spot prey from yards away. Up close, everything is blurry, and they depend on small, hair-like feathers on their beaks and feet to feel their food.
